Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist who is interested and passionate about developing skills working at system level to support programmes of work focusing on recruitment, retention and development of Occupational Therapists?
We are looking for an individual with experience of leading change and influencing practice with a strong understanding of the AHP workforce agenda. At a time of great change and opportunity following the ambitions outlined in the NHS Long Term Plan and People Plan, amidst significant workforce challenges, this is an exciting time to undertake this role.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will provide strategic and professional leadership for Occupational Therapists across all sectors. You will be responsible for leading and developing a 5-year Occupational Therapy workforce plan for the Frimley system as part of the ICS AHP team to ensure the Occupational Therapy workforce can meet the growing and changing needs of local populations - ensuring high quality care for the patients of today and the future by improving the way we recruit, retain, deploy, develop, and continue to support the Occupational Therapy workforce.
This is part time role - 15 hours per week

- Experience of working as a Occupational Therapist within health and/or social care settings Educated to Master's degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience working in specialist area. (e.g. programme/ project management, AHP workforce development) HCPC registered Occupational Therapist Evidence of post qualifying continuing professional development.
