Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Administrator, you will work alongside our South East Complaints Team Hub hosted by Frimley ICB. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person, to provide administration and clerical support. The post holder will require good interpersonal skills and communication skills, working effectively as part of a team as well as with the general public.

Main duties of the job

Managing incoming and outgoing telephone calls for the department on a daily basis and expected to use their initiative to deal with phone calls and messages

Sorting and prioritising all incoming mail and e-mail, distributing as appropriate

Undertaking administrative duties such as photocopying, and mail-out distributions.

Ensuring all urgent and/or confidential communications are received and distributed from/to relevant parties in a timely manner.

Supporting teams in project management and participating in department events.

Inputting, monitoring, and checking data, required for finite and ongoing projects within the teams.

Working with all team members in the collection of information for performance reporting on relevant team projects

Acting as a point of contact for teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomous

NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board was formed on 1 July 2022 under the Health and Care Act 2022, replacing NHS Frimley Clinical Commissioning Group.

NHS Frimleyis the new statutory NHS organisation responsible for planning and delivering health and care services. It will work collaboratively with partner organisations including the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, people and communities across theFrimley Health and Care Integrated Care System (ICS).Integrated Care Boards are the bodies responsible for the NHS functions within the wider integrated care systems.

  • Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act.
  • Knowledge of NHS issues
  • Clear communicator with excellent writing, data entry and presentation skills: capable of constructing and delivering clear information/ instructions to colleagues and service users.
