Allied Health Professions HCPC Return to Practice Programme Lead
This is a 6-9-month fixed term or secondment post (dependent upon WTE).
Do you aspire to be an AHP leader of the future?Are you a highly motivated AHP with a good understanding of the current workforce challenges across the 15 Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to support the delivery of AHP Return to Practice priorities?
This is an excellent opportunity for personal, professional and leadership development for an AHP with an interest in workforce improvement and transformation. You will be closely supported by senior AHP leaders and have regular supervision to support your work and project deliverables. This role will work closely with the HEE South East AHP team.
Main duties of the job
There is a need for significant increases in AHPs to address known workforce shortages.We are looking for an AHP to support the Return to Practice processes, and work with AHP workforce teams across the South East region to provide support to deliver AHP recovery and growth activity.
Successful delivery is dependent on collaborative working and the ability to develop relationships so being able to demonstrate strong communication and negotiating skills is essential. You will be self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and be keen to apply and grow.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of AHP policy and gain experience working across regional and national teams. The successful postholder will also benefit from mentoring and development from AHP Heads/Leads in the regional and national teams.

Please note that with effect from 1st July 2022, NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB) will take on the commissioning functions that currently reside with NHS Frimley CCG. If you successfully secure and commence employment with NHS Frimley CCG prior to the 1st July 2022, then your employment will transfer to NHS Frimley ICB using the principles of TUPE on 1st July 2022.
