Main duties of the job

Frimley Training Hub is a dynamic NHS organisation established to support the supply, development and retention of the primary care workforce. The Training Hub project manager will support programmes of work underpinned by the need for a flexible, productive and affordable healthcare workforce that meets the needs of patients, reflecting evolving care pathways and the values set out in the NHS Constitution, NHS Long Term Plan and NHS People Plan.

About us

Please note that with effect from 1st July 2022, NHS Frimley Integrated Care Board (ICB) will take on the commissioning functions that currently reside with NHS Frimley CCG. If you successfully secure and commence employment with NHS Frimley CCG prior to the 1st July 2022, then your employment will transfer to NHS Frimley ICB using the principles of TUPE on 1st July 2022.

For your information - Integrated care systems (ICSs) are partnerships of health and care organisations, local government, and the voluntary sector. They exist to improve population health, tackle health inequalities, enhance productivity and help the NHS support broader social and economic development. The Integrated Care Board will take on the CCGs' functions and broader strategic responsibility for overseeing healthcare strategies for the system.

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area Post-graduate degree in Management Studies or equivalent Significant experience of successfully operating in a politically sensitive environment Evidence of continued professional development Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating projects in complex and challenging environments Experience of managing risks and reporting Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at SMT level Experience of monitoring budgets and business planning processes Understanding of the public sector Demonstrated experience in a Healthcare environment Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project

  • Ability to prepare and produce concise yet insightful communications for dissemination to senior stakeholders and a broad range of stakeholders as required Experience of creating and giving presentations to a varied group of internal and external stakeholders
