Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an exceptional leader to join our Corporate Contracting team to manage All Age Continuing Care Contracts at Cheshire and Merseyside Integrated Care Board.
We are seeking an inspirational and enthusiastic leader who will lead and support the Corporate Contracts team in delivering AACC Contract Management providing a comprehensive, high quality and in-depth support across the ICB. The individual will also need experience in planning, leading, engagement and development activities to accomplish a successful AACC provider market to meet capacity and demand requirements.
As the B8a Principal Contract & Marketing Management Lead, you will have significant experience in NHS contract management, provider market and engagement management, analytical and negotiation skills.
You will be expected to provide thoughtful, effective, and apparent leadership at all times, adhering to ICB Policies and Procedures at all times.
You will be expected to establish your credibility quickly at all levels and build relationships within the team and the wider organisation.
Working with and supported by the Head of Service, the post holder will help ensure an open, and engaging culture for individuals and staff that ensure excellence in individual commissioning.

Reporting directly to the Head of Service and working as a key part of the Corporate Contracting team within the ACC team to form an effective and functional team that will ensure safe, effective and sustainable contracting and market management.
To ensure fee negotiations with providers are timely and effective providing abed based placements, domiciliary care and supported living including complex care.
Plan and manage regular reviews of the marketplace and facilitate provider engagement events to include the LA's were relevant.
Evaluate, analyse and interpret highly complex information, identify high costs/risk providers ensuring delivery of the organisational financial ambitions
This role will be pivotal in delivering efficiencies and performance within available resource.
