Digital technology is transforming how patients and health professionals interact. As a result, the NHS in England is supporting primary care to move towards a digital first approach, where patients can easily access the advice, support and treatment they need using digital and online tools. These tools need to be integrated to provide a streamlined experience for patients, and quickly and easily direct them to the right digital or in-person service.

The postholder will have an important role in providing support to primary care providers in the implementation of the Digital First Programme, delivering transformational change leading to better outcomes for patients.

The postholder will work primarily within their borough (Greenwich) as an integrated part of the primary care teams. However, they will also work together across the Collaborative sharing expertise and knowledge cross-borough as is required.

The postholder will also contribute to planning for continuous reduction in health and wellbeing inequalities across all boroughs of the CCG in collaboration with the wider system

Main duties of the job

This role is a key part of the Digital First programme hosted by South East London ICB
