Main duties of the job
We are looking for system leaders with experience in co-producing services with communities, excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and a desire to make a difference in Greenwich. You will represent both the Council and NHS as an integrated Commissioner. Through developing strong partnerships and utilising appropriate governance structures, you'll lead the commissioning of high-quality services that support Greenwich people to lead healthy, fulfilling and independent lives.
Among other duties, the postholder will lead on a specific portfolio area and ensure strategic development, clear priorities and targets for achievement that improve the lives of children and families. Working collaboratively with the market, residents and colleagues across the system, you'll implement transformational change through commissioning for outcomes, including further integration of health, care and other forms of support. You'll have responsibility for delivering all commissioning activities in high value projects in your chosen portfolio area.

The South East London Integrated Care System (ICS) brings together the health and care partners that serve our vibrant and highly diverse populations resident in the London boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.
Our partnership brings together six local authorities, over 200 general practices, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital NHS FT, King's College Hospital NHS FT, Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust, South London and the Maudsley Mental Health FT and Oxleas FT.
