NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West (BOB)
Integrated Care Board is the statutory NHS organisation responsible for
planning and delivering health and care services for the communities of
Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West.
The All Age Complex Continuing Care Service (AACCC) are
looking for three motivated people to join our team in one of our three bases
in Oxford, Reading or High Wycombe.
Main duties of the job
Working as the Lead of one the
AACCC adults workstreams (Brokerage, Appeals or Complex Care), the post holder
will provide leadership to their team, manage staff levels, develop/enhance
processes, prioritise their own workload and that of their team, and ensure
exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. Due to the importance of
these roles we are looking for Full Time applicants.

Job responsibilities
- Supporting the business change process under the guidance of the AACCC Business Intelligence and Reporting Manager
- To be an effective champion for Broadcare across AACCC
- To be responsible for supporting, advising and coaching staff with processes, data maintenance in order to help them deliver benefits in their areas.
- To promote best practice in the administration and delivery of the AACCC service with consistent application of the National Framework and local policies
- To manage and prioritise own workload, working on own initiative to a large degree, assessing situations which may involve information from a variety of quite different sources with differing levels of confidentiality and complexity.
- Support the AACCC Business Intelligence and Reporting Manager in managing the teams core administrative systems, i.e. annual leave, sickness absence, appraisals, mandatory training etc.
- To provide line management to team members of a lower level in your workflow
- mentorship and guidance to all administrative staff of a lower level.
- To sign off expense payments within financial guidelines inclusive of dealing with queries as appropriate.
- Set up exception reporting system to handle routines without supervision
- Routinely re-order department supplies, or delegate as appropriate.
- Update mail/phone directories, or delegate as appropriate.
- Proactively plan out with the admin team, the time they require to underpin the delivery against deadlines i.e. weekly/quarterly returns
- Follow up actions from the Senior Management team meetings if needed
- Put in place and monitor the completion of appraisals and mandatory training across their team
- In partnership with the AACCC Business Intelligence and Reporting Administrator manage band 3 and band 4 administrators within AACCC, supporting the recruitment process and organising induction as required by the Management Team.
- To set up equipment for new members of staff, including set up of new IT account and access permissions, or closing down of IT accounts.
- To undertake training of administration staff of a lower level in order to develop and maintain standards and support quality service delivery of the team.
- To work with Management Team and colleagues to develop standard processes and procedures across the department, including proposal of system improvement, implementation of change and the communication of change to the AACCC Team.
Provide high quality project, service, initiative and administrative support including information and analysis as the locality administration manager for AACCC.

The post holder is a key member of the team whose overarching goal is to enable, promote and support the effective use of data, information, knowledge and technology to improve, inform and support a portfolio of projects, services, and initiatives.
