As part of hosting
arrangements, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care
Board (BOB ICB) is seeking to appoint a Managing Director for the Thames Valley
Cancer Alliance (TVCA), to lead a multidisciplinary team in whole system planning and delivery of cancer care
across the Thames Valley footprint.

Main duties of the job
The postholder will lead on the strategic plans for cancer to sustainably meet the ambitions of the long-term plan for cancer, working closely with providers and other system partners to support the effective delivery of cancer pathways. Key functions will include planning and program delivery to ensure delivery of national priorities, as well as providing oversight and leadership on the implementation and delivery of specified national programmes and pilots such as e.g. Targeted Lung Health Checks.

term objectives.
Key aspects of this role
