An opportunity to work 2 days a week in the South East region
leading on the Nursing Digital programme and 3 days a week with Buckinghamshire,
Oxfordshire & Berkshire West (BOB) ICS as Chief Nursing/Midwifery/AHP
Information Officer (CxIO). This could be an exciting opportunity for an
experienced CNIO, and we are looking to be flexible on how we contract for this
work and to use this opportunity to showcase our regional digital nursing
leadership. This role would be a substantive and you will be employed by BOB ICS.
Main duties of the job
As Chief Information Officer, I'm looking for a standout CxIO
who can help the region and BOB System to deliver its digital transformation
aspirations. Working with the Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) and
digital team, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the adoption of digital
technologies across the region and BOB
system.
Your role will be exciting and varied supporting transformation
using digital data science to deliver improvement and reduce variation. You
will also be working to develop strategy
and policy whilst also engaging with staff from across the nursing, midwifery
and AHP areas. Agile working is positively encouraged, recognising the part
that this plays alongside traditional face to face forms of engagement.
The CxIO
would work with the regional nursing team
and will be supported by the Director of Professional System Development
& the Chief Nurse Officer for BOB system.
You will work with the regional digital transformation team to support
the integration of digital into nursing practice in support of the wider
nursing and midwifery agenda (locally and nationally) and as a clinical digital
leader.
