These posts are part of the West Yorkshire Economic Accelerator Programme, hosted by the WY ICB. They are fixed term/secondment until 31/03/2026.

We have two exciting part-time positions for experienced senior managers to join our team to help deliver the national Economic Accelerator Programme.

Accelerator is a 12-month pilot which aims to improve population health outcomes and increase economic growth by reducing health-related labour market inactivity. The programme will implement and evaluate a range of interventions which will support individuals to manage their health condition(s) and enable them to remain in employment.

We are looking for well-motivated and dynamic individuals who are able to able to work with a range of internal and external partners to deliver key activities and projects relating to the Accelerator programme.

You will be working with a fast-paced, placed based team, providing expertise to a range of activities including commissioning, monitoring and evaluating services.

This is a rare opportunity to engage in a high-profile area of work that requires passionate, motivated and value driven individuals.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicants will support the delivery of the West Yorkshire Economic Accelerator Programme within Bradford District and Craven place. They will be involved in supporting the delivery of our local plan, under the direction of the Reducing Inequalities Alliance Lead.

They will use their expertise and knowledge to:

Provide commissioning oversight and co-ordination within the programme, co-ordinating local implementation, monitoring and evaluation of our Accelerator interventions

Work with delivery partners to promote interventions and their impact

Take an active role in the evaluation of our local plan, by collating information and insight, and analysing the qualitative data from our local interventions

Support the delivery of a range of local network and learning events, so a learning culture is embedded across the programme

To ensure that Accelerator activity is aligned to wider place plans and activity, these roles will be embedded within the Reducing Inequalities Alliance team, actively contributing to their key delivery functions and meetings.
