Job summary

An exciting opportunity has risen in the Workforce Strategy and Planning team for a experienced project manager to support the Programme Manager for Expanding Student Placements role, in delivering the WY ICBs priority programmes in relation to practice based education and will specifically support the student led services project and the Learning Environment and Placement (LEAP) projects.

Experience

Essential

  • Performance management, including monitoring of delivery to timescales

Qualifications

Essential

  • Substantial direct experience of working with diverse senior professional and managerial groups across a range of organisations and professional disciplines
  • Proven track record of leading effective change management programmes resulting in positive public health outcomes

Desirable

  • Relevant project management qualification for example PRINCE 2 Practitioner

Skills & behaviours

Essential

  • Ability to efficiently prioritise own workload whilst working within very tight deadlines and with differing priorities
  • Ability to present complex information including analysis of data and statistics in a concise, accurate and understandable way to a range of audiences
  • Computer literate with an ability to use the required systems/ office packages
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex facts or situations
  • Understanding of broad NHS roles and responsibilities, structures and processes

Desirable

  • Practical experience of managing multiple successful projects, including the development of complex project management frameworks, monitoring and review processes
  • Examples of leading on change management/service improvement within the NHS
