Job summary
We
are looking for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Transformation
Lead who can work collaboratively, engaging with multiple stakeholders across
West Yorkshire.
The
postholder will lead on the development of an EDI Strategy for the Integrated
Care System (ICS), ensure a strong profile and visibility for EDI throughout
the ICS and provide EDI expertise and advice to senior leaders within the
Integrated Care Board
You
will build trust and credibility, organising and prioritising your workload
to often changing and tight timescales. You will be an excellent communicator
and problem solver. You will have a proactive can-do attitude and be able to
show resilience and leadership through times of challenge.

Main duties of the job
The
post holder will:
Develop
an EDI Strategy for the Integrated Care System, ensuring Board level sign up.
Be
accountable for the overall delivery of the strategy, developing and
delivering a workplan for the networked team.
Be
accountable for transparent reporting and delivery of improvements against
metrics on EDI.
Ensure
a strong profile and visibility for EDI throughout the ICS, connecting with
the EDI champions on the ICB Board and the Non-Executive Member with
responsibility for people and communities.
Provide
EDI expertise and advice to senior leaders in the ICB and to place based EDI
leads.
Work
with EDI leads in the five places to set the standards for EDI to which all
places would be expected to operate, promoting exemplary practice and
embedding consistent methodologies where this adds value or makes better use
of resources.
Promote
a community of practice amongst EDI leads and champions across the West
Yorkshire integrated care system to facilitate alignment of work to advance
inclusion and address inequalities
Provide
strategic leadership, co-ordination and operational delivery to ensure the
ICB as a statutory body fulfils all EDI compliance duties relating to
commissioning decisions and workforce, including (but not limited to)
coordination of assurance processes and action plans associated with the
Equality Delivery System, Workforce Race Equality Scheme and Disability
Equality Scheme.
