The Directorate of Global Health Partnerships at Health Education England (HEE) builds international partnerships which strengthen health systems and services in England and across the world. We work with partners to plan, educate, and train an international health workforce.
The Global Health Partnerships Research and Development team are responsible for ensuring Directorate programmes are evaluated and contribute to a high-quality evidence base to underpin and attract future work. We are currently working with West Yorkshire Integrated Care System to find global solutions to workforce challenges and are developing ethical migratory pathways to support healthcare vacancies within the West Yorkshire footprint. This involves complex, multi-stakeholder engagement which requires rigorous oversight and evaluation.
Youll join a new small, supportive team committed to enabling the achievement of our exciting Global Partnership ambitions. Youll be able to bring your expertise and experience in research and evaluation and make a real difference evidencing the work we are doing on a regional, national and international level.

Main duties of the job

Working for the Associate Director and Programme Manager (ICS Global Partnership Programme) and closely with HEE Directorate of Global Health Partnerships Research and Development Manager, you will be involved in research and evaluation activity related to West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership. Specifically, you will be responsible for conducting a bespoke evaluation of work the Directorate of Global Health Partnerships is engaged in with West Yorkshire ICS, drawing upon appropriate methodologies to answer project objectives. Therefore, experience of and exposure to programme and project evaluation will be of benefit to applicants for this role.
