Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:

Contributing to the strategic planning of the function, identifying interdependencies across component programmes/projects, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments, as necessary

Contributing to the financial management of the function and its constituent programmes ensuring value for money

Ensuring timely and accurate information analysis and reporting to the Associate Director

Providing operational and strategic leadership to support transformation, sharing of best practice and achieving the key performance indicators aligned to all programmes within the function

Working closely with the Accountable Officers, Chief Executives, Clinical Leads, Clinical networks and NHS England providing high quality specialist advice, expertise and leadership on communications and engagement to the function, its programmes and the Partnership

Ensuring any risks are understood and where appropriate mitigated through appropriate actions and strategies where necessary supported by the ICS.

Promoting a culture of effective joint partnership working ensuring that there is clear reporting and escalation of issues when issues are raised providing clear support to places acting as a key link between the Programme Manager and place based delivery leads

Ensuring the principles of openness, transparency and candour are observed and upheld in all working practices
