Job summary

The digital programme aims to deliver national digital initiatives which will improve access to self-help diagnosis information and clinical pathway direction to appropriate services. This will enable clinicians to better utilise their time in their application of patient care and to empower patients in their own healthcare management. We are looking to recruit a Digital Change Manager to support the delivery of our shared care record vision for the region and online consultation solutions for our GP practices across WY. This role will be crucial in supporting the engagement and delivery of our vision across our partner organisations.

We welcome applications from candidates who are friendly and outgoing as well as being organised. The post holder will have proven experience of delivering sensitive and emotive messages to stakeholders across a complex environment. Experience of delivering change/service improvement initiatives in the health or care sector is essential.

The postholder will be required to travel across West Yorkshire, on a flexible basis, in line with government guidelines at the time, although highly likely the postholder will be home based in the first instance. As a team we offer flexible working arrangements that benefit the staff member and the service. See what some of our team members enjoy about flexible working.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of this role is to drive an engagement programme primarily with our hospitals and general practises but then widening to social care and third sector organisations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced change manager or clinician with experience of delivering change in a clinical environment. This post is suitable for a highly motivated individual.

The postholder will be the key engagement lead linking the implementation team to the operational services. Ensuring operational services are thoroughly aware of the proposed changes, answering any queries and supporting the operational services to implement the new technologies and realise the benefits that digital tools can bring.

About us

In West Yorkshire we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity – we see this as a strength and part of our founding mission, values and behaviours.
