Job summary
If you are an experienced HR professional who has excellent interpersonal skills and can build and maintain strong working relationships, then we have an exciting opportunity! A role has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior HR/People Advisor to work in our People Team.
You will provide specialist advice and support to staff and managers within a defined service area of the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (WY ICB) and help deliver the strategic and operational agenda. WY ICB became a statutory organisation in July 2022 and is a new type of organisation that works in collaboration to drive improved outcomes for the people of West Yorkshire. This post works across West Yorkshire covering Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Kirklees and Calderdale. You will work agile with a combination of home working with some travel to sites is required.
The post is full-time but flexible working patterns will be considered. Secondments will also be considered.

Main duties of the job
The Senior People Advisor will be responsible for delivering a professional, comprehensive, proactive, and high-quality people advisory service to managers and staff within the Calderdale and Kirklees area including core internal functions. They will be supporting the People Business Partners in undertaking their professional and operational responsibilities whilst ensuring that workloads and competing priorities are managed effectively.
The role will involve hybrid working and a requirement to travel across West Yorkshire to support the various functions/departments in the delivery of the service. The contractual base will be White Rose House, Wakefield, WF1 1LT.
