System Workforce Analyst

Job summary
The post-holder will be responsible for delivering comprehensive workforce and information analysis to support workforce intelligence within the Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care System (ICS). With a focus on analysing workforce information and working with health and care providers, as well as wider stakeholders, to model the future workforce demand and delivery plan.
The post will deliver local data analysis for systems, dashboards, reports, bespoke programmes and projects, labour and workforce demographics and other intelligence systems. The post-holder will demonstrate a clear understanding of data quality improvements, integrity and data sharing, cause and effect analysis, modelling, qualitative and quantitative analysis to support the delivery of the workforce strategy and planning function.
The post-holder will require advanced analytical skills to work with large, complex datasets and use relational database/SQL skills to develop new processes to manage existing data. The post-holder will work with a range of systems to analyse data including (but not exclusively); Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Data warehouse reports, Tableau; QlikSense; icloud, Primary Care and Social Care Workforce Tools and other information and performance/business intelligence systems to deliver the core reporting and ad hoc requirements of the role.

Main duties of the job
Summary of Key deliverables:
- Undertake data analysis, data modelling and data transformation activities to support integrated workforce planning in the ICS.
- Help ICS stakeholders to articulate information requirements and advise on how data can be used to support business processes and decision making.
- Provide information and guidance to ICS stakeholders on HEE analytical solutions and lead local application, ensuring effective use of standard products.
- Support the workforce transformation team to ensure that the portfolio of tasks/projects is planned, managed and delivered effectively.
- Support and inform the targeting of resources, monitoring, implementation and evaluation of the tasks/projects by providing high quality support including complex information and analysis, communications and stakeholder management.
- Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of organisations and individuals, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.
