Applications are welcome from experienced Software Asset Managers with a working knowledge of the N365 / M365 Microsoft products and software licencing to work within Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Luton ICT Shared Services.
HBLICT provides IT support to the NHS organisations which make up Hertfordshire and West Essex ICB and Bedfordshire, Luton & Milton Keynes ICB.
The post of N365 Product Manager / Software Asset Manager sits in the Digital End User Computing Development & Automation team and the team is responsible for ensuring that end-user desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones are configured, tested and delivered in a stable, secure and consistent manner across all customers.
The post holder will need to be able to travel between sites.
Main duties of the job
o Responsible for the management and performance of the Software Asset Management (SAM) service and development of the N365 portfolio.
o The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money through effective SAM. The post holder is responsible for ensuring effective and cost-efficient software license agreements are in place and drives activities across the estate to re-harvest licenses wherever possible to achieve best value.
o The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery of software licensing for end users and core infrastructure including product ownership within HBLICT of the N365 products, working closely with the head of the department and solutions architects to develop roadmaps to deliver N365 functionality.
o The post holder owns and manages software inventories across mobile, telephony, desktop and core infrastructure estates ensuring that compliance is maintained.
o The role is responsible for the software licensing of N365 within the organisation and leads on the tool roadmap working closely with key stakeholders, suppliers and senior managers both within and outside the NHS.
