Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Locality Development Manager to join the South Gloucestershire Locality Partnership Team on a permanent basis.

The ambition of the Locality Partnerships, currently hosted by Bristol North Somerset and South Gloucestershire's (BNSSG) Integrated Care Board (ICB) is to create a genuinely integrated "out-of-hospital" service offer, with GPs, community services, social services, the voluntary sector and other partners working together to keep people healthy, well and independent in their own homes.

We are looking for someone who can manage multiple work priorities, is able to work across professional groups and develop relationships that will enable you to excel in this role You will be responsible for providing expert support to South Gloucestershire Locality Director, developing plans, managing projects, and leading on specific areas of locality development.

You will need to be a highly organised individual with experience of leadership and bringing about changes in service delivery models with multiple stakeholders in a challenging, complex environment.

The role is a hybrid role, with a mixture of home-based working, an expectation of ICB office days once per week and at South Gloucestershire community and partner locations as required. The Bristol North Somerset & South Gloucestershire ICB office base is at, Floor 2, North Wing, 100 Temple Street, Bristol, BS1 6AG.

Main duties of the job

Provide support to the development and implementation of BNSSG strategies, such as the Locality Transformation Scheme.

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including all member practices and the Locality Commissioning Board.

Participate in and support all relevant internal and external groups including the Locality Commissioning Membership Forums and Locality Leadership Group meetings.

Plan and deliver projects and initiatives in support of the Locality agenda, providing, information, analytical advice and expertise as needed.

Work closely with the Locality Planning team to support the implementation in the Locality of the commissioning context.

Work closely with the locality commissioning leadership group in support of member engagement in locality plans

Contribute to the development of data collection systems that will provide accurate and timely data in support of Locality initiatives, working closely with Business Intelligence

Present information and issues, including explaining highly complex issues, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee and management of all aspects of the Team budgets.

Contribute to the strategic planning of the Locality, identifying interdependencies across projects/functions, potential impacts on wider organisation, resource requirements and building in contingency and adjustments as necessary.

Work closely with the primary care development team to implement the BNSSG primary care strategy in the locality and promote resilient sustainable primary care. This will include working with the primary care development team on the implementation of new care models, delivery of workforce initiatives and implementation of the BNSSG resilience and quality improvement programmes.
