Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Finance team as a Management Accountant. The post is Fixed-term for 6 months.

Main duties of the job

The role will mainly service the Corporate and Support Costs programmes of work but will also be a key part of adopting the new ISFE2 Finance system along with supporting the ICB more generally as an integral part of the ICB's Finance function.   • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level of experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
  • Further training or significant experience in financial management.
  • Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring the performance of health services.
  • Experience in communications and stakeholder management.

Desirable

  • Progress towards a full CCAB qualification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management and/or health information systems development
  • Workforce development knowledge and experience.
  • Previous experience in similar role in public sector.
  • A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it.
