Job summary
Are you passionate about working with the Voluntary and community sector? The Strategy, Partnerships and Population Team at BNSSG ICB has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team for 12 months to work alongside the sector in developing a VCSE Alliance. Wherever possible, we are keen to support people within their communities, and you will play a key role in this.
The post holder will define current processes, facilitate discussions, and advise colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted in the definition of future processes, document those processes as they are agreed and oversee their delivery
Main duties of the job
You will have knowledge of the sector and the opportunities and challenges that this brings to undertake the following:
Lead on behalf of the strategy directorate by working alongside colleagues and partners to develop an agreed VCSE Alliance.
Liaise and collaborate closely with other ICB directorates and teams.
Work alongside the VCSE sector and partner organisations to scope opportunities to support people in their communities.
Work alongside the VCSE sector, partners, and the Integrated care board to ensure we join up the VCSE alliance work, to the BNSSG Integrated Care Partnership strategy and outcomes.
Hold Lead responsibility within the Integrated Care Board, for developing policy and procedure associated with the VCSE workstreams, including briefings, commissioning, business, or resources.
Be responsible for proposing and drafting changes, implementation and interpretation to policies, guidelines which may impact within the Department or Directorate.
Champion equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) and ensure that activities take account of EDI requirements.
