Job summary

Surrey Heartlands ICB is looking for a GP with specialist knowledge in Perinatal Pelvic Health. This individual will join the established Project Team, who are working together to review and improve perinatal pelvic health services for our population on behalf of the National NHSE Programme.

The Perinatal Pelvic Health GP Lead will provide clinical leadership for the transformation of primary care pathways and GP workforce development, to meet the specific population needs of Surrey Heartlands and the requirements of thePPHS National Service Specification.

Main duties of the job

Provide system-wide clinical leadership and support for transformation of primary care within the area of Perinatal Pelvic Healthcare.

o Represent Surrey Heartlands alongside the wider established PPHS Project Team as a Wave 3 Follower for the National NHSE Programme).

o Assist in the development of the Surrey Heartlands GP workforce in the assessment and management of pelvic health issues in the community.

o Design and produce a Perinatal Pelvic Health Training package for General Practitioners working in Surrey Heartlands.

o Work with data leaders to implement a standardised, digital proforma/template for pelvic healthcare for use in the community.

o Work with clinical and managerial leads to improve Perinatal Pelvic Health services and deliver them in line with the ICS Clinical Strategy, Long Term Plan and 3 Year delivery Plan ambitions.

  • Active General Practitioner working within the Surrey Heartlands Health and Care system

Desirable

  • Qualification, training or evidence of interest in Healthcare Leadership and Management
