Please note the role will require office attendance 2-4 times per month.

Main duties of the job

Ensure that the ICS is complying with all aspects set out in the Long-Term Plan and National Bundle of Care for Children and Young People with AsthmaContribute to performance improvement, taking a lead for identified areas.To lead the delivery of day-to-day activities and projectsTo oversee team members and engage and liaise with key stakeholdersLead the delivery of project plans, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options and ultimately making decisions in the best interest of the project. Able to analyse the national bundle of care for children and young people with Asthma and direction, assessing and interpreting its impact locally within Surrey Heartlands and member organisations, highlighting and adjusting plans in response

Validating invoices and escalate queries as required.Support and develop business cases to support business improvement proposalsManage own workload, working independently and prioritising as requiredResponsible for working with staff from a wide range of disciplines across a large number of organisations and helping to organise and facilitate informal and formal teaching sessions, in conjunction with the Children and Young people's Respiratory Clinical Lead

  • Educated to masters level and/or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level / project management experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development within service change/ improvement / transformation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project
  • An understanding of the current health policies and national objectives within the NHS / and local Surrey Heartlands strategy
