We are looking for a Communications and Engagement Assistant to join our friendly team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate keen to gain valuable experience in the NHS. We are also keen to hear from individuals who have experience of working at a similar level and who want to make a difference in people's lives through impactful communication and engagement. You will play a key role in supporting a variety of communication and engagement activities that connect our people, places, and priorities.
The role offers flexible working, a blend of in-office collaboration and remote working.
Main duties of the job
As a Communications and Engagement Assistant, you will:
- Assist in crafting compelling copy for our website, intranet, and publications.
- Support the monitoring of digital media and updating of intranet and web content.
- Help manage our social media channels, ensuring that our messages reach the right audiences effectively and on time.
- Play a key role in organising and running events, from video shoots to stakeholder meetings.
- Support the team in keeping our partners and key stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Maintain and update stakeholder contacts' databases.
- Assist with communication plans and distributing important information.
- Work alongside team members to produce and monitor social media content, keeping our channels vibrant and engaging.
- Keep track of the latest digital trends to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
- Bring fresh ideas and a creative approach to your work.
