Main duties of the job
o Manage the Non Acute and Collaborative finance function, co-ordinate the work of the team, and provide comprehensive financial services on behalf of the Surrey collaborative.o Monitor, manage and report on the financial aspects of the non acute and collaborative budgets, and ensure the effective assessment, management and mitigation of financial risks, ensuring the reporting to Surrey collaborative is consistent.
o Lead the budget setting process for non acute and collaborative and contribute to the overall ICB financial planning process for all ICBs in the Surrey collaborative.o As a member of the non acute and collaborative finance team, support the decision-making process for the team as a whole, with regard to priorities, governance issues, implementation of new processes and procedures.o Lead the design, development and maintenance of processes and financial systems required to support the reporting process, ensuring the integrity of data is maintained at all times.o Regularly interpret guidance and research into processes and their methods of financial management, identifying, developing and promoting best practice across the ICB.o Responsible, as line manager, of the non acute and collaborative finance team including recruitment and selection, planning and coordination of work and managing variations in the workload.
