Job summary

Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care Board in an integral part of Surrey Heartlands Integrated Care System. Together, we work as a partnership of clinicians, managers and staff, focused on improving clinical outcomes and services for patients within the surrey heartlands area.

Are you enthusiastic, keen to learn and develop, and want to work in a busy but friendly team? If so, we are looking for a receptionist based in our Woking office to provide front of house services and some back office administration. You'll be responsible for arranging meeting rooms and providing support to staff running courses and meetings, taking and redirecting calls, managing a hot desk service and monitoring the "contact us" email inbox, redirecting where necessary.

The post is 37.5 hours per week.

Previous experience working as a Receptionist/Administrator, in reception with a good telephone manner and the ability to multi-task whilst keeping calm and polite is essential.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the post may be summarised as:

  • Providing an efficient 'front of house' Reception service for the ICB
  • Answering all external telephone calls
  • Acting as a source of reference and contact for staff and partners/stakeholders from external organisations
  • Actively participating as a team member
  • Welcoming members of the public as visitors to the ICB office
  • Delivering routine daily/weekly/monthly key tasks
