Main duties of the job
The Product Development Lead is an experienced practitioner with broad industry and health and care experience, who can define and assure best practice while supporting the head of product development to influence, lead and mentor others across the system where appropriate.
At this role level, you will:
o manage a product through discovery, alpha, beta and live stateso influence both design and system strategy and prioritieso collaborate with counterpart colleagues across the health and care systemo support the defining of product and platform roadmapso operate at scale and provide support to colleagues across the multidisciplinary health and care system areas and stakeholderso participate in the governance of the products and platforms as part of the overall Surrey Heartlands system architecture, escalating risks and issues appropriatelyo support the Head of Product Development with budget management and allocation of funding to areas of the service based on defined priorities and following the relevant governance procedureso communicate the benefits and performance of the platforms and productso supporting the Head of Product Development with the development, delivery and sharing of roadmaps, investment plans, service quality and user needso Lead product, project teams in developing products and platforms, including matrix management of cross-team and cross-organisational resources
