Main duties of the job

Business/Administrative support for the Joint Carers Programme of work; this could include working with a wide range of colleagues within the Programme team. Business and Administration support will include preparing agendas with the Chairs of meetings/groups/committees, collation, and dissemination of papers, maintaining clear action logs and management of membership, and could also include communicating programme and commissioning sensitive information to colleagues within the County Council and NHS. Within the governance structure and business as usual activities the meetings will include:

o Providing support for events that are a part of the annual Joint Carers Programme. This will include effective communication and promotion, organising workshops, selecting venues, researching catering options and arranging guest speakers.

o Provide support for current projects including maintaining project plans, monitoring progress of projects and facilitating project delivery.

o Ensure that the key information offer is readily available, accessible, including online resources, and that this material is kept up to date.

o Ensure verbal and non-verbal communication is clear, effective, and adaptable to different audiences. As a first point of contact for the programme team, monitor/action incoming and outgoing communications with a high attention to detail.
