Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surrey Heartlands ICB- Surrey Downs place to join our friendly team as a Primary Care Commissioning administrator. The post holder will provide both administrative and project support to members of the Primary Care Team across Surrey Heartlands but will focus on Surrey Downs. This is a critical supporting role, which will enable the efficient functioning of the wider team. The post holder will be motivated and enthusiastic, with a keen eye for attention to detail, as well as a proactive approach.

The post-holder will play a key role in providing administrative and project support, including the organisation of meetings and events, and the preparation and production of agendas and minutes. The post-holder will be the main contact person for queries from GP practices, and as such will need to have strong interpersonal skills and be confident in developing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

Surrey Heartlands ICB is seeking a Primary Care Administrator to support the Primary Care team in managing the primary care workstreams, meetings and support to GP Practices and specifically in the Surrey Downs area.

You will have a proven track record in taking minutes, arranging meetings, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience is essential.

As a new member of our team, you will be flexible in your approach and have an excellent track record of working in a team environment. Demonstrable experience of working in a complex environment is preferable but not essential.

This is a fast paced work environment and we are looking for an Administrator who will fit this role. Some travel may be required.
