Job summary
The EUC Engineer will be part of a team responsible for the management and security of endpoints and applications, ensuring devices and applications are deployed correctly, patched, managed and monitored across both corporate and primary care. The role requires experience with various deployment and endpoint management tools such as MDT, Datto and Intune/Autopilot, as well as Scripting experience, including Powershell and XML, and some Group Policy Management. Experience of managing endpoint security tools such as Sophos and MDE will also be required.
Main duties of the job
The EUC Engineer will use their technical expertise in the Enterprise security team focused on the management and security of endpoints and applications, ensuring devices and applications are deployed correctly, patched, managed and monitored across both corporate and primary care.
The purpose of the team is to maximise service availability for all IT users by minimising threats to the organisations Infrastructure from cyber security, ensuring target service levels are met or exceeded, drive improvements to the cyber security position whilst ensuring any new ICT service is future proof, efficient and compatible with corporate strategy and technical standards delivering a BAU support and project delivery service, the team are responsible for providing application deployment and management, patching, and end user compute management across the estate.
