Job summary
We are looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join our mental health commissioning teams within Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge Place-based Partnerships at NEL ICB.
The post holder will be a key member of a team, providing administrative functions relating to the management of mental health Section 117 and tertiary placements.
The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate NEL ICB values, and the responsibilities of the job description and person specification. They should be confident that they meet the criteria as per the job description and person specification.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge Place Based Partnerships in administrative functions related to the management of mental health Section 117 and tertiary placements.
The postholder will require good administrative and communications skills and be able to work with a range of stakeholders across health and care.
The remit includes (but is not limited to) the following areas within the Place:
Administrative support to the BHR Mental Health Tertiary Funding Panel;
Administration and invoice management support to support the management of tertiary and S117 placements for people with mental health conditions;
Maintaining a tracker for individually funded placements and including a tracker for discharge plans which includes S117 applications, capacity assessments, risk assessments and barriers
