EDI Coordinator

Information:

This job is now closed

Job summary

The newly established Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) directorate is dedicated to supporting the ICB/ICS in becoming a truly inclusive organisation and system, challenging the barriers across the system which cause disparities in our workforce and for our service users. We believe that developing an organisational culture that fully embraces equality, diversity, and inclusion is not a 'nice to have' but is a key priority for ethical and dynamic health and social care services in the 21st century.

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator will assist the EDI directorate with the general administrative and project/program coordination of the EDI portfolio. In addition, as a member of the Inclusion and Wellbeing Team within the directorate, you will work closely with senior leaders to provide equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing support to the ICB.

Main duties of the job

The EDI Coordinator will be responsible for the provision of a professional and comprehensive administrative service, including project management support for a range of EDI activities. The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Co-ordinator will report to the Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager and provide support across the EDI Directorate, raising awareness of EDI activities and sharing good practice across the Integrated Care Board/Integrated Care System (ICB/ICS).

In addition, the EDI Coordinator will provide coordination support for EDI and wellbeing communications, support to staff networks and event coordination, and EDI data analysis.
