The Legal Services Team at NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board has a new and exciting opportunity for a Paralegal to join its team in a key role to support the delivery of in-house case management of the community DOL applications and also assisting with some of the most complex cases. Main duties of the job

The Team delivers expert in-house legal services across Claims, Inquests, Mental Capacity Law and Mental Health Law as well as wide-ranging Healthcare Law. The Team has already undergone considerable change and development.This new role will be a key part of the transformation of legal services to ensure the in-house legal service provision is of the highest standard.

Communicate with providers, assessors and members of the public.

To assist the Integrated Legal Team with a wide range of legal enquiries and reports, prioritising and escalating to the Claims and Legal Services Manager, as appropriate.

To provide cover and support across the Integrated Legal Team.

Support improvements and initiatives within the Integrated Legal Team.

Work within the procedural guidelines.
