for detail and a drive to see improvement? Are you interested in supporting
clinical quality improvement to improve patient care? If so, an opportunity
exists with us. You will need to have experience of working in a quality
improvement role, within or outside the NHS and appropriately associated
training or experience.
You will be working as part of
a team undertaking a hydration quality improvement project focusing on
improving the hydration status of people over 65 years old who live in their
own home within three South East Region Integrated Care Boards (Surrey, Sussex
and Frimley).
Please note that there are 3 roles available, one in Surrey, one is Sussex
and one in Frimley.
Main duties of the job
The key component of this role
will be to support the delivery of the Hydration Project using quality
improvement and project methodologies.You will be experienced in
developing detailed project plans identify key milestones and timescales to
measure the project progress. You should have skills in data collection and interruption
with a knowledge of how data is used to support continuous improvement. You
will have experience of implementing quality improvement projects and
interventions with an understanding of the importance of collaboration and
shared working with stakeholders across the system and wider NHS.
You will be an excellent
communicator with experience of engaging and building relationships with the
public and/or patients and complex teams. You will also be skilled in
negotiation and persuasion so that you actively support and empower the project
participants, carers and other stakeholders.
