Main duties of the job
The Director of Allied Health
Professionals will have an influential role and responsibility for clinical
teams in NHS Sussex. The postholder will lead and support the co-development
and implementation of an enabling AHP delivery plan, ensuring that it fully
aligns with and supports the delivery of:

The AHP skillsets are fully utilised and optimised to support
clinical service re-design, ensuring a strong focus on empowering and
maximising the independence of the people and populations we serve
Clinical change and improvement including working on delegated
issues and making key recommendations as part of the system clinical leadership
The support and encouragement of system wide reforms that improve
the quality of care, such as the one team approach aligned to our strategy
ICS-specific future workforce plans for health and care, in
conjunction with NHS England regional teams and Health Education England

- Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through post graduate masters / diploma or equivalent experience or training
