One Devon are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to support the strategic and transformation development of T Levels within Health and Social Care across Devon. T Levels are technical qualifications for 16-19-year-olds with a minimum of 315 hours of Industry Placement to develop highly sought after health and social care ready skills. As the number of health and social care related professionals grows, it is now more important than ever to enable Devon's young people explore a career in health and social care through T levels and Industry Placements. This role will be critical in bringing educational and care providers together in Devon to create exciting, varied and accessible Industry Placements and T Level pathways.
Main duties of the job
The Industry Placement Co-ordinator (IPCO) will be embedded within Devon ICS Workforce, Learning and Education Team, reporting to the Learning, Education and Clinical Workforce Lead. You will support a range of priorities including Learning and Education, Attraction, Retention and Workforce Solutions and Workforce Strategy, to delivery the One Devon Strategic Long Term Workforce Plan and One Devon Learning and Education Strategy
We are seeking an individual who can raise the profile of T Levels within the Integrated Care System (ICS) and will be expected to manage relationships and dialogue with all T Level providers in the ICS footprint, complete tasks that support Industry Placements (IPs), ensure quality and consistency of IP delivery across the System, and share best practice
The post holder will establish a sustainable system-wide operational strategy for T Level engagement, develop accurate overview of the system's capacity to support IPs and create long-term processes integrated with the ICS' wider workforce considerations.
As IPCO you will work to improve local employer/provider relations and reduce administrative pressure through supporting development of role profiles, streamlining processes, induction activities, audits and quality reviews etc.
You will be expected to share best practice with Government and the wider sector as well as collaborating with the DfE through the production of case studies over the course of the project.

- Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification
- Post Graduate level training or qualification in related subject or equivalent experience
Desirable
- Coaching, supervision or mentoring qualification or significant equivalent experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools, such as Prince 2 Foundation and Microsoft Project
Experience

- Experience of working collaboratively with a range of employers, providers and stakeholders including national bodies, central government or equivalent
- Experience of managing placements including service level agreements, capacity management, quality assurance and audit, infrastructure and resource procurement
