Job summary
NHS Norfolk & Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Norfolk County Council (NCC) have been successful in securing funding to develop a new Children and Young People's (CYP) mental health crisis service in the east of Norfolk.
The new service, known as an Intensive Day Service will be delivered by our local mental health provider, Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT), and specifically the children's Crisis Assessment and Intensive Support Team (CAIST) and NCC Children's Social Care staff. In this setting, health and social care staff will use a joint approach termed the "Integrated Practice Model" to joint assess, manage and treat / support CYP and their families. The users of this service will either be near crisis, or are in the midst of crisis.
Main duties of the job

The project manager appointed to this post will oversee progression through the project lifecycle. For example they will:
- Help develop the operating model between health and social care teams.
- Draft, inform and help complete something called a Client Brief Form, which will help architects and builders know what we want from this new building and service initiative - allowing us to deploy £500,000 of capital funding to renovate the identified building.
- Chair / co-chair meetings with stakeholders that govern, oversee, and inform the service development.
- Complete and lead on, with support and guidance, completion of all relevant project paper associated with the project; minutes, agendas, briefing papers, update papers, specifications, project timeline documents, etc.
- Work with stakeholders to progress the building refurbishment through lease transfers, planning permission, tendering and evaluation of architectural plans, and refurbishment plans.
- Update senior system stakeholders and NHS England colleagues.
- Support general progression and maintain pace in this project.

o To work with other members of the CYPM Team and Designated Safeguarding Teams to ensure delivery of satisfactory performance, governance and management of risk relative to role.o To promote constructive working relationships with external organisations to ensure that the ICB is discharging its obligations effectively and that any opportunities for more efficient working alongside other system partners are identified.o To work effectively in collaboration with clinicians and managers of other health and social care organisations within the health and care system or elsewhere, where there are common interests or care pathways.o The ICB aspires to be a flexible, productive organisation which changes positively the way care is commissioned and delivered. It will be management resource light, buying in some important management services and so all staff will be required to carry out a range of activities not explicitly defined in their job description (but within their competence). Activities will also be performed by teams coming together for specific projects and all staff will be supportive of other staff, irrespective of which part of the organisation they come from. The post holder may be required to cover for/support other activities within their level of competence and responsibility.o To conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the system's vision and values and approach to patient and public engagement within Norfolk and Waveney.
