The Business Intelligence team is at the forefront of this. You will work with your colleagues to drive our data science capabilities as wider performance and demand reporting to all business areas.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for extraction and manipulation of data using business intelligence (BI) tools such as SQL, SSRS and PowerBI. Applying analytical techniques to interpret information from a variety of difference sources for operational, strategic and performance management purposes. To create analytical products to support decision making and to enable the ICB to meet their statutory and legislative data requirements.

About us

You will be working in a small centralised team supporting the Integrated care Board (ICB) but with close collaboration with all our Health and social care partners across Norfolk and Suffolk.

The work is varied, dynamic and interesting, with an excellent team environment. The team now largely work from home with occasional requirements to attend the office, but agile working is available. There are flexible working opportunities.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will be a subject matter expert, managing all information requests and BI developments for a subset of ICS activity (initially this will be workforce). They may also supervise a team of Information analysts and Officers, managing their workload and supporting their development. They will work closely with directors where appropriate will attend divisional and board meeting, representing the ICB business Intelligence team.

The post holder will undertake complex technical work and will liaise with specialists across all organisations to maximise the use of information held within existing data sets through standardisation, complex data management and manipulation and exploitation of their potential by turning data into information using excel, t-SQL and PowerBI.
