opportunity awaits the right candidate as NHS North East and North Cumbria
Integrated Care Board (ICB) seeks to recruit an experienced and self-motivated
individual to join the Children and Young People Commissioning Team in Tees
Valley as a Commissioning & Delivery Manager. Working in a busy,
high-volume but friendly and supportive environment, this role will suit an
organised person with an eye for detail and plenty of team spirit.

outcomes and reduce inequalities for the Children and Young People of Hartlepool,
Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington, Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland.
The Commissioning Delivery Manager provides a key role in
supporting the Head of Commissioning and Delivery in advising and assuring on
the delivery and performance of the ICB/ICP commissioning plans through
strategic leadership of relevant portfolio areas.

Main duties of the job
The post holder
will be responsible for:
The formulation,
delivery, and management of specific programmes/projects, within their area of
responsibility, reporting progress and undertaking risk and issue management to
ensure effective and timely delivery, which will feed into the Children and
Young People's workplans which in turn will feed into the ICP and ICB level
plans.
The post holder
will support service and care pathway reviews, audits, and quality monitoring
initiatives. Using this knowledge, you will support the design, redesign and
development of integrated service delivery/proposals, with options appraisals
consistent with high-quality cost-effective services
You will have experience in leading/managing projects, including
performance management and delivering to timescales, with demonstrable skills
in complex information/data analysis, interrogation, and interpretation
You will be able to
interpret national guidelines, targets and legislation and support delivery of
effective systems and processes by working closely with other key teams within
NECS (Clinical Quality, Provider Management, Commissioning Finance, Business
Intelligence, Data Management, and Medicine Optimisation)
The
post holder will be expected to drive the usage of cooperative and
co-productive commissioning techniques, and whole system change to ensure
outcomes are achieved in collaboration with health and social care communities.
