This is an exciting time to join the team for the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB). As Chief Allied Health Professional you will work as part of a wider clinical team including the senior nursing team and the Medical Directorate, to provide high quality clinical and professional leadership that is embedded at all levels of the system.
You will be responsible for providing an AHP perspective to support and lead aspects of the quality improvement strategy for the ICB working with all providers across the ICS and within the senior clinical team, being corporately responsible for those elements relating to Allied Health Professionals and for maximising the contribution of the AHP workforce in bringing a different perspective to the planning and delivery of services. Your expertise will need to drive integrated approaches at the point of care, providing advice and expertise on professional issues relating to AHPs, demonstrating the compassionate leadership the ICB aspires to and the values of the organisation in support of the executive chief nurse and the wider executive team.

Please note that we support a hybrid model of working between home working and sites across the region. The senior management team, which you will be a part of, will be based in Sunderland. Please note that regular travel will be expected across the North East and North Cumbria.
