Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to undertake the role of Senior Organisational Development Practitioner to lead, develop and deliver a broad range of OD, engagement, culture and leadership development interventions and programmes for the ICB to improve our people's lived experience and organisational culture.

The post holder will also provide OD expertise in developing and delivering OD solutions to support a wide range of workforce and system transformation and recovery programmes and new models of care.

We have recently established a People and Culture Steering Group and some of our key priorities are to implement changes from the staff survey, a talent review/ appraisal process and value based approaches to a number of our key processes and work.

Main duties of the job

The role will be varied and will adapt over time as the ICB develops. However, the postholder is expected to fulfil the following key functions: -

1. To work collaboratively to develop and deliver a broad range of comprehensive organisational development, culture, leadership development, talent management programmes and strategies across the ICB and LSC System.

2. To lead on the development and implementation of the ICB Staff and Pulse Surveys, OD cultural improvement plans and to analyse data from these surveys to identify and make recommendations for cultural OD improvement plans that will create an inclusive and compassionate culture for the ICB.

3. To design and deliver a broad range of people leadership programmes and masterclasses to ICB managers and leaders to equip them with knowledge and best practices in abroad range of leadership, people, and management programmes.

4. To design and deliver a range of OD approaches and interventions to wrap around and to support the ICB's Recovery and Transformation programmes.

5. To lead on the design, development and implementation of the ICB and system talent management approach to support career development and succession planning.

6. To lead on the development, implementation and delivery of the NHS People Promise across the ICB with the PPManager to create and inclusive and compassionate culture and make our organisation a great place to work.

Knowledge of non-traditional development methods e.g. action learning, blended learning (including virtual elements of delivery or facilitation)
