Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Delivery and Transformation Manager to join the Mental Health team, leading a number of projects that benefits the lives and health of people with a mental health illness. The postholder will be required to work with partners and stakeholders, to manage a number of projects, ensuring that they are delivered well, to time, and are communicated appropriately. The role will involve supporting governance meetings, providing reports and updates, working with stakeholders to develop annual plans, and briefings.
Working within the Strategic Commissioning and Integration Directorate with links to the Medical Directorate, this post sits within the Mental Health team. The postholder will be required to identify actions needed across the team, and support delivery and implementation. The role will be varied, and will adapt over time as the ICB develops.
This roles involves the analysis of complex information relating to project activity, and will require the development of action plans, KPI monitoring, objective setting and progress updates. Excellent communications skills are required, as this role will include the production of highlight reporting, governance reports and project progress.
You will need to be confident in identifying additional workstreams that may support activity, eg. communication plans, new opportunities or risk mitigation and use your skills to develop these with the Programme Manager.
Main duties of the job
To review and manage several projects within the programme, work with work stream and planning leads to develop project and action plans to achieve the objectives stated.
Work with stakeholders to develop, propose and implement new processes.
Develop and manage detailed project plans for each project, identifying actions required to deliver the project, KPIs, financial and quality impact and risks.
Ensure work streams are serviced and run efficiently and that regular checkpoint reports and other project documentation are prepared in advance.
Monitor and evaluate project delivery to facilitate the achievement of project objectives, ensuring projects are kept to agreed timetables.
Provide regular briefing on delivery of plans to the Programme as required, including recommendations for additional projects within areas supported.
Continue to meet the evolving needs of partners and the central team, acting as a catalyst for delivery.
