Job summary

NHS Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is a strategic component of the Integrated Care System (ICS) across Lincolnshire delivering the commitments set out in the NHS Long Term Plan.

To support our providers within the system, we agreed to take on the role of lead provider for the Pandemic and Vaccination Programme. Over the past 18 months we have achieved great success in vaccinating our population resulting in us being one of the top systems in the midlands region.

Our workforce has been a great asset to us during this period, showing real determination, commitment, and flexibility to continue to meet the ever-changing needs of the programme. However, we have appreciated that some of our workforces have now needed to return to their substantive positions and/or have decided to now enjoy their retirement having offered their skills and contribution.

As we move into our next phase of the programme, we continue to increase our capability to deliver even more vaccinations through our Mass Vaccination Centres, Local Vaccination Centres, Roving Models and indeed our schools.

This is a rolling advert to provide support to the Vaccination Programme. Applications will be shortlisted as they are submitted.

We therefore require your support, expertise, and commitment as a registered healthcare professional working on a fixed term contract through to 31 August 2022 in the first instance on a full-time or part-time basis. Bank arrangements will be considered however, it is important that regular activity would be agreed to maintain appropriate skills and competencies. Your duties will include clinical assessment, dilution and drawing up of the vaccine, overseeing record keeping and clinical and managerial supervision of individuals within your small team.
