At Herefordshire and Worcestershire Integrated Care Board, we are looking for an experienced Nurse to work within the Nursing and Quality ICB Safeguarding Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist safeguarding expertise integrated across all ages. The Deputy Designated Nurse support the team in ensuring that comprehensive and robust arrangements are in place for safeguarding in all commissioned services, including, Health Providers, Primary, Community and Independent care.

Main duties of the job
Reporting to the Designated Nurse for Safeguarding, the post holder will assist and where delegated, lead and support all activities necessary to ensure that organisations within the health community meet their responsibilities to safeguard and protect children, young people and adults. They will work flexibly across the countywide safeguarding team to support delivery of the agreed work plan. The successful candidate will be passionate about safeguarding with a proven track record of delivering on objectives. This role includes advising HWICB on their statutory duties for Safeguarding Children, Looked after Children and Adults as stipulated in primary legislation, government strategy and national, regional and local guidance.
