Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Data Analyst

Band 5 (agenda for change)

Permanent - Full Time

Main duties of the job

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and pro-active data analyst within the all age continuing care team to support the Assistant Business manager to provide data analysis, management information reports and statistical returns to the service.

You will need strong data analytical skills, problem solving abilities, excellent communication skills and enjoy working flexibly under pressure in a busy team.

In addition to experience in an information role, you will need to demonstrate the ability to interpret and report data in a format which is understood by operational staff, senior management and external stakeholders.

Essential

  • Educated to A-Level level or equivalent work experience
  • 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths & English

Desirable

  • Project management qualification in a recognised methodology e.g. PRINCE 2

Skills

Essential

  • Strong analytical and requirements with the ability to interpret results from analysis
  • IT skills particularly use of Microsoft Office.
  • Understanding of a wide range of data quality issues and the application of the appropriate data validation techniques
  • Ability to work on your own and manage relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of producing reports and presenting information to a wide variety of audiences.

Desirable

  • Previous NHS experience
  • Understanding of CHC Framework and processes
  • Ability to manage a small team and prioritise own and staffs work in line with organisational policies.
