Job summary

Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) nationally have set up co-ordinated system control functions to co-ordinate and manage operational capacity and demand across the system and maintain patient flow.

In Coventry and Warwickshire, this function will be known as the System Co-ordination Centre (SCC) and it will link with our existing provider Incident Control Centres (ICCs).

The role of the SCC is to always ensure the safest and highest quality of care possible for the entire population across Coventry and Warwickshire by balancing the clinical risk within and across all acute, community, mental health, primary care, and social care services.

The Administrator role will provide key administrative support to the SCC collating data, completing submissions, and supporting the wider SCC in the day-to-day delivery.

Main duties of the job

The SCC Administrator will

Provide day to day administration for the single point of access mailbox, this will include liaising with NHS England and other stakeholders to ensure returns and key guidance are disseminated, returns are collated and sent in a timely manner.

Tracking and logging all emails that arrive at the mailbox.

Ensuring returns are completed and sent in a timely manner.

Deal with any queries arising from emails sent into the inbox.

To provide administrative duties including diary management, resolving queries, arranging meetings, minute taking for specific meetings.

Acting on any urgent emails and responding to routine enquiries as appropriate.

Preparation of letters, reports and other documents.

Ad hoc duties to support the Urgent Care team in times of escalation and surge.

he Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care System (ICS) will comprise the Integrated Care Board (ICB), which is the statutory body for the NHS, and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), which is a committee of the ICB, and brings together key health, care, community and voluntary sector organisations across the area. The Coventry and Warwickshire ICS covers the geography across two counties and is coterminous with the local authority boundaries of Warwickshire and West Midlands.

The role sits within the Transformation Directorate and will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective system support across the Integrated Care System (ICS) to ensure the safest and highest quality of care possible for the entire population across Coventry and Warwickshire by balancing the clinical risk within and across all acute, community, mental health, primary care, and social care services

  • Significant administrative/ secretarial experience including initiating and maintaining office systems
  • Knowledge of the NHS and current issues

  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
