Job summary

The ICB is seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to the new role of Finance Apprentice within ICB finance team. The role will provide the necessary support to Financial and Management Accounting teams to ensure the provision of a high-quality financial advice and business support.

The Finance Apprentice will be given opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience of working with whole finance team while being supported to complete the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications. The role will be matrix managed to enable for line management to remains with one individual while the post holders and their responsibilities move through different areas of finance team. Ideal candidate would have already completed AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.

Main duties of the job

Main responsibilities will include collating and processing month end procedures; analysis and reconciliation of expenditure; assisting the wider team in resolving queries and improving processes. Successful candidate must possess good organisation, time management and communication skills as well as being proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
