Job summary
This
is an exciting opportunity to work in the Kent and Medway Integrated Care
Boards Oversight Team in this hybrid working role.
We are
a small and dedicated/friendly team, working to the ICBs Chief of Staff, which
is responsible for the ICB oversight function. The team supports the ICB to
become increasingly self-standing and self-assuring, by providing an objective
view of delivery and performance, in line with delegated oversight
responsibilities from NHS England.
In
line with the NHS England Oversight Framework, the ICB oversight function
provides an independent and objective, evidence-based view of how the ICB, Kent
and Medway providers, our four Health and Care Partnerships, and other system
partners are performing and understanding any support requirements they may
have.
This makes for a dynamic workload requiring the development
of close working relationships across the ICB directorate subject matter expert
teams, the ICB Executive Management Team, wider system health and social care
organisations, and with NHS England.
Hybrid working model - home and office based
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will
work across both Performance and System Oversight to support the robust
management of the system oversight model, aligned to the NHS England National
Oversight Framework.
The post holder will
effectively manage the overarching monthly and quarterly oversight processes
with system, ICB, provider, and NHSE colleagues, including the management of
meeting outputs.
This important role will also
be required to support the development of frameworks and tools to track
performance and the production of detailed oversight reports for a range of
committees including the ICB Executive Management Team and ICB Board and their
sub-groups.
