We are
seeking to recruit an exceptional leader to continue the ongoing improvement in
Mental Health provision care in Kent and Medway. It is both an exciting and
challenging time for Kent and Medway. We have recently established our new NHS
organisation that sits at the heart of an integrated health and care system
designed to improve individual outcomes for the 1.9 million people who live
here.

Main duties of the job
The Director
of Mental Health will:
work
alongside MH providers across Kent and Medway to develop, implement and monitor
improvement plans to met the demand for mental health services
provide
leadership to the Mental Health ICB team to be able to champion MH services
across Kent and Medway to deliver excellent MH services
work
with providers to monitor contracts and service delivery to get the best
outcomes for the funding available
champion
the use of all sectors to assist people with mental health care needs
influence
and inform workforce plans to ensure Kent and Medway has the workforce to meet
patient demands.

effective systems operate to manage performance and risk
Work inclusively with a diverse range
